I’m so frustrated I am going to have to dump Lightroom. Truly, there has been almost a 1 year not update. I had been happily using Lightroom 4.6 and 5.2. Then without warning, 5.3 was brought in and this morning, I found that I could no longer access Lightroom client on my desktop or laptop. I’m missing my desktop client as I no longer have access to the Dropbox connection I need. I’d forgotten I hadn’t followed standard procedure of having Lightroom set to run on startup. It is just not worth being forced to have the Adobe desktop client eat 100% of my CPU power. I’d get tired of the pipeline because it is so CPU intensive.
I am thinking of getting Photoshop Album. The interface is good and I’d like to look into a few of the expensive exported PSD files I created with Lightroom. The simple file handling is important if the images are going to be part of a web site that allows limited access. I may then move to Capture One Pro.
