Servis Foundation will focus its interventions on communities around SIL factories, currently in Gujrat and Sheikhupura. We have aligned our organisational objectives with national and global development goals around building human and social capital and safeguarding natural resources. This includes areas like:
- preventable deaths of newborns and children
- hepatitis, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases
- premature mortality from non-communicable diseases
- recruitment, development, training and retention of health workforce
- free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education
- affordable, quality TVET and tertiary education
- gender and other disparities in education
- supply of qualified teachers
- safe and affordable drinking water
- adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene
- water quality
- participation of local communities
